Conditions of Entry

Admission to an event is subject to The Basin Theatre Group’s Terms. In particular, the following form part of the group’s terms unless otherwise specified:

  1.    You may be denied entry into, or removed from, an event where the group has reasonable grounds to do so, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions, or you are intoxicated, under the influence of illicit drugs, inappropriately attired, or adversely affecting the enjoyment of the event by others.

  2.    If you arrive late, you may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event. Performances begin on time, late seating will be made at an appropriate seating break, but could be several minutes into the performance.

  3.    You may not be permitted to take into the event, or use, cameras or other photographic or recording equipment (including mobile phones).

  4.    Management request that all pagers and mobile phones be turned off before entry.

  5.    You may be required to submit to a search of your person and/or possessions before entering the event.

The auditorium opens approximately 15 minutes before performance commencement for seating.

Authenticity and Validity of Tickets

Entry to an event may be refused if the authenticity or validity of a ticket is questionable, including because the ticket has been damaged or defaced in any way, or has not been purchased from The Basin Theatre Group.

If there are multiple parties are attempting to enter a performance using the same ticket then the person who originally purchased the ticket will have precedence.

Accessible Seating

Any patrons who require wheelchair seats, or have other special seating requirements, such as Companion Card seating, are encouraged to book at least two weeks in advance by telephoning the Ticket Secretary on 1300 784 668.

The Companion Card admits carers to performances as complimentary guests when attending The Basin Theatre with the cardholder.

Wheelchair and Companion Card seating cannot be booked online.

Note: The Companion Card promotes an existing right for people with a significant, permanent disability to participate at venues/activities in the community, without incurring an additional cost because they require a companion to provide attendant care support.

Accessible Seating tickets must be booked through the Ticket Secretary, as the online internet booking system does not allow access to discounts for Wheelchair or Companion seating.
